The Service

Skiscout is a platform for displaying information about cross-country ski trails, including trail status, weather, and user reports. The service is provided free of charge.

You can create an account via Apple, Google, or Facebook. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs through your account.

Push notifications

The service may send push notifications (e.g. about new reports for your favorited venues) when you have enabled them. You can turn off notifications per venue or delete your account at any time.

User Content

Reports and other content you create on Skiscout are public contributions to the Skiscout community and may be used freely by Skiscout.

You are responsible for ensuring your content is accurate and does not violate laws or the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

Reuse of Content

Scraping, copying, or displaying content from Skiscout on other websites or services is not permitted without explicit written permission from us.

Disclaimer

Information about trail status and conditions on Skiscout is user-reported and may be inaccurate or outdated. We do not guarantee that the information is correct, complete, or up to date.

Always use your own judgment and check local conditions before heading out on the ski trails. Skiscout is not responsible for injuries or accidents that occur based on information from the service.

Account Termination

You can delete your account at any time via account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
